Client's need
One of our regular clients asked PMR to conduct a quantitative study among doctors of different specializations. The project’s main objective was to know the opinions of Polish doctors on mobile applications and preferred forms of gaining specialist knowledge.
Our deliverables
We completed 200 CATI quantitative interviews with representatives of various medical specialties (both general practitioners and specialists). During the interviews we explored the following issues:
- Level of use of medical apps
- Frequency of visiting industry social networking websites and websites for doctors
- Attitude towards receiving industry information from pharmaceutical companies
- The possibilities of communicating and interacting with patients and monitoring their therapy via mobile apps
Value for the client
For the purposes of this study, we efficiently carried out the recruitment of a large number of specialist doctors. Our client received data on the attitudes of Polish doctors towards mobile apps, and gained valuable insight into the local market. The results we delivered helped the company in making strategic business decisions.
