Working with American company operating in pharmaceutical sector, PMR Research conducted 16 in-depth interviews with physicians engaged in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. The aim of this study was to understand the manner in which patients in Polish hospitals are diagnosed and treated, to identify treatment methods applied, and to evaluate the concept of a new drug. The respondents were hospital IMs, ER medicine specialists, intensivists, cardiologists and electrophysiologists. The interviews were conducted in a two day period in centrally located venues in Warsaw and Krakow and were web-streamed over the Internet on Client's request.
