Our team

At PMR Research we take great care to ensure that our team is made up of experienced and highly skilled individuals. We hire specialists who have intimate knowledge of the CEE markets and also an understanding of global trends and the relationship between what is happening locally and what is happening internationally. We hire people who are proficient in research methods and techniques, and, importantly, people who are dedicated to growing their skillset, knowledge and experience.

Below you can find brief profiles of selected members of the PMR Research team. The team comprises 90 talented, highly motivated professionals, including researchers, analysts, consultants, editors and many other specialists.

  • Karol Kołt

    Karol Kołt

    President and Managing Director

    Karol Kołt studied international management in Krakow and at universities in Frankfurt Am Main and Nürnberg. Prior to joining PMR, Karol worked with senior managers at many German-based companies. He began his career at PMR in the consulting department, where he worked on a wide range of competitive intelligence, sourcing and strategic consultancy projects. He was soon promoted to the position of Head of Consulting Services. In 2006, Karol was appointed to the position of Vice President of the PMR Management Board. In February 2007, Karol was elevated to the position of President of PMR, a role he took up while also being appointed the company’s Managing Director. Karol’s responsibilities include the management and overseeing of the company’s operations and the implementation of its growth strategy. In business, he is a keen advocate of the straight-forward approach defined as the ‘getting things done’ approach to doing business. Karol’s ambition is to support PMR’s dynamic growth while ensuring that it remains a valuable business partner that is appreciated by its clients and is also a great place to work for talented individuals.

  • Marcin Rzepka

    Marcin Rzepka

    Head of Research Services

    Marcin Rzepka holds a degree in sociology from the University of Wroclaw, majoring in social communication and market research. Prior to joining PMR, Marcin worked as a Senior Researcher at TNS Pentor, one of the largest market research institutes operating in Poland, and at PKO Bank Polski. Marcin’s tenures with these institutions enabled him to gain extensive experience in managing multiple research projects concurrently and often on a large scale. This provided him with first-hand insight into the value of research to businesses. Marcin has experience in consumer and B2B research and business efficiency projects. In addition to the financial sector, Marcin participated in projects in other industries, including FMCG, telecommunications, IT and construction segments. Marcin is specialised in customer satisfaction and segmentation research and product optimisation issues.

  • Tomasz Deluga

    Tomasz Deluga

    Senior Research Executive

    Tomasz holds a degree in sociology from the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He specialised in sociology of economy and market research. While still a student, he worked as a Market Analyst at a Krakow-based research agency. He also completed several internships, including one at the Statistical Office in Kraków. His areas of specialisation include quantitative research and statistical data analysis. Tomasz has experience of working on research projects utilising CATI, face-to-face, central location/in hall, desk research and expert opinion surveys. His experience also includes the development of reports using PMR’s proprietary methodology, Market Insight. He has extensive research experience in a number of areas, including FMCG, medical and pharmaceutical market, construction, power, petrochemicals, metallurgy, publishing and printing, IT and telecommunications.

  • Anna Grabara

    Anna Grabara

    Senior Research Executive

    Anna holds a degree in sociology from the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University with a specialisation in sociology of economy and market research. Her experience includes having occupied the role of CATI call centre supervisor, where she was responsible for training and supervising interviewers. Anna also has experience in a wide range of research projects involving qualitative and quantitative tasks (focusing on projects carried out using the CATI approach), including image and satisfaction research studies and desk research assignments. Anna has been involved in research projects in various areas, including such fields as the media market, healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical market, retail, food, clothing and footwear, services and tourism. She has also participated in projects related to the operation of public institutions. Furthermore, Anna has extensive experience in coordinating international research tasks.

  • Monika Grzywa

    Monika Grzywa

    Senior Research Executive

    Monika holds a degree in sociology from the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a specialisation in sociology of economy and market research. She later completed post-graduate studies in economy and business management at the University of Economics in Kraków. Prior to joining PMR, she was Research Unit Head at the Małopolski Institute of Local Government and Administration. Monika has worked on a wide and diverse range of research projects, including quantitative and qualitative analyses and desk research projects. Monika has completed projects using IDI, face-to-face and CATI methodologies. Furthermore, Monika has experience in moderating focus groups and has facilitated numerous strategic workshops and conducted research methodology courses. Monika has extensive research experience in multiple areas, including customer satisfaction, quality management in public institutions as well as construction, services, tourism and the medical and pharmaceutical market.

  • Karolina Jasek

    Karolina Jasek

    Research Executive

    Karolina holds a degree in political science from the Pedagogical University of Krakow. She also has a postgraduate degree in methodology of social and market research from the University of Warsaw. Karolina has extensive experience of conducting research projects comprising qualitative (FGI and IDI) and quantitative (CLT, CAWI) studies. Her role in PMR involves the management of research projects, including international projects, throughout the entire study process (from the study design phase through to fieldwork, data analysis and report writing). Karolina has participated in numerous research assignments in a variety of sectors, including the pharmaceutical and medical, clothing and footwear, retail, cosmetic, IT and building materials markets. Karolina has a wealth of experience in focus group moderation and in-depth interviewing, including business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) interviews.

  • Julian Bayata

    Julian Bayata

    Research Executive

    Julian is a graduate of the ITESM, one of the leading universities in Mexico. He graduated with a degree in Marketing and a Masters in Administration & Finance. While still a student, he began gaining experience in market research, business development and project & operations management. With this breadth and depth of experience, he is able to provide insight from a variety of different perspectives. Julian has extensive experience in desk research as well as in qualitative and quantitative research. He has worked on research projects in a variety of fields, including food & beverage, education, logistics, construction, FMCG, IT and Telecommunications. Before coming to Poland, Julian worked as a consultant in Mexico, the USA and Sweden.

  • Maciej Marmuszewski

    Maciej Marmuszewski

    Project Manager

    Maciej specialized in market research and data analysis at the department of sociology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. While still a student, Maciej led a team of several-dozen young researchers from the Institute of Sociology, where his responsibilities included the acquisition and implementation of public opinion polling projects. During his career, Maciej has worked as a researcher and analyst with Krakow-based research agency where he managed quantitative marketing research projects conducted using CATI (telephone interview), PAPI (face-to-face interview) and CAWI (online survey) research methodologies. Maciej has a number of years of experience in managing and hands-on implementation of quantitative and qualitative research projects. To date, Maciej has taken part in multiple research projects across a wide range of industries, including the fields of FMCG, retail, e-commerce, automotive, advertising, publishing and electrical engineering.

  • Maciej Koniewski

    Maciej Koniewski

    Research Executive

    Maciej holds degrees in sociology (with a specialisation in social research and data analysis) and philosophy from the Jagiellonian University. While a student, Maciej completed an internship at the Polish division of SPSS Inc. and gained his first practical experience of conducting research projects for business clients and public institutions. Maciej is specialised in statistical data analysis. His other areas of expertise include quantitative projects (CATI and CAWI) in Poland and abroad. His experience also covers qualitative projects and market analysis projects combining desk research techniques and expert opinion surveys. Maciej has conducted market insight, customer satisfaction and loyalty, usage & attitude, and segmentation research projects in sectors such as construction, healthcare, the pharmaceutical and medical market, IT and telecommunications, HoReCa, financial services, heavy industry and the lighting industry.

  • Maciej Kasperczyk

    Maciej Kasperczyk

    Project Coordinator

    Maciej studied sociology at the AGH University of Science and Technology (specialising in multimedia and social communication) and the Jagiellonian University (specialising in social and marketing research) in Kraków. Before joining PMR, Maciej’s worked in several Kraków-based research companies, where he gained experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects for privately held companies and local government units. He supervises CATI and CAWI research projects carried out by PMR’s internal Call Centre. His duties also include the operation of a data collection system. Maciej has experience in completing research projects in many industries, including the IT and telecommunications, automotive, construction and FMCG sectors. He has also co-authored many analyses and reports issued by PMR’s three divisions.
