PMR Research carried out a series of 50 in-depth interviews regarding automation sensors with production engineers, production maintenance specialists and purchasing personnel representing OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and machine users from the automotive, machine tool, automation and household appliances industries. The study was commissioned by one of the world leading automation sensor manufacturers and the interviews were completed with an equal proportion of the client’s current and prospective customers.
All 50 interviews were conducted by PMR Research analysts, which of 24 were completed face-to-face with companies located in the South West of Poland and 26 over the telephone with companies located in other regions of the country. The aim of this study was to collect information on customer satisfaction with the products used and services received, as well as understand their current and future needs and requirements towards the sensors.
